BijouTheater Cancellation and Refund Policy

This Cancellation and Refund Policy applies to subscriptions, rentals, and digital-access purchases made directly through BijouTheater.tv and processed for Wintree Corporation, doing business publicly as Wintree Studios.

Transactions made through a smart-TV platform, app store, or other independent distributor are generally governed by that platform's cancellation and refund procedures.

1. Subscription Cancellations

You may cancel a BijouTheater subscription at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal associated with the subscription.

The portal may be available through a Stripe receipt, confirmation email, or subscription-management link. If you cannot access it, email watch@bijou.theater from the address used at checkout and request cancellation.

Cancellation normally becomes effective at the end of the current paid monthly or annual billing period. You may continue using the subscription through that date, and future renewal charges will stop.

Cancel before the next renewal charge is processed to avoid being billed for the next period.

2. Subscription Refunds

Subscription fees are generally nonrefundable after a billing period begins, except where required by law or where we determine that a refund is appropriate.

We will review refund requests involving:

• Duplicate charges
• A charge made after a properly submitted cancellation
• Unauthorized or fraudulent use reported promptly
• A material technical failure attributable to BijouTheater that prevents meaningful use of the paid service and cannot be corrected within a reasonable time
• A billing or renewal error
• Another circumstance for which applicable law requires a refund

A cancellation by itself does not create a prorated refund for unused days remaining in the billing period.

3. Rental Cancellations and Refunds

A rental generally provides 48 hours of access beginning at the time of purchase unless a different period is shown at checkout.

Rental payments are generally final once playback begins or the rental access period has materially elapsed.

We will consider a refund or replacement access when:

• The wrong title was supplied
• The title was unavailable at the time of purchase
• A verified technical failure attributable to BijouTheater prevented playback and was not corrected within a reasonable time
• The transaction was duplicated or unauthorized
• Applicable law requires a refund

Problems caused solely by an unsupported device, poor internet connection, blocked cookies, cleared browser storage, or failure to use the rental within the stated period do not ordinarily qualify for a refund, although we may offer replacement access at our discretion.

4. Digital-Access Purchases

A digital purchase provides a personal license to access the selected title through BijouTheater while we retain the legal right and technical ability to make it available. It does not transfer ownership of the film or guarantee perpetual availability.

Digital-purchase payments are generally final after playback begins.

We will consider a refund when the purchased title was inaccessible from the outset, the wrong title was delivered, the transaction was duplicated or unauthorized, or applicable law requires a refund.

If a title later becomes unavailable because of an expired license, rights dispute, legal requirement, platform change, or other circumstance beyond our reasonable control, we may provide notice, replacement access, account credit, or a refund where appropriate or legally required.

5. Promotional Purchases

Discount codes, promotional prices, and credits have no cash value. Refunds, when approved, will not exceed the amount actually paid.

The loss of eligibility for a promotion, failure to use a code, or expiration of an offer does not by itself create a right to a refund.

6. How to Request Help or a Refund

Email watch@bijou.theater and include:

• The email address used at checkout
• The transaction date
• The amount charged
• The subscription plan or title involved
• A brief description of the problem
• A Stripe receipt or transaction identifier, when available

Do not send a complete credit-card number by email.

We may request additional information reasonably needed to verify the transaction and investigate the request.

7. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method whenever possible. Stripe and the customer's financial institution control when the credit appears after we submit it, so processing times may vary.

8. Chargebacks and Unauthorized Charges

Please contact us promptly before initiating a chargeback so we have an opportunity to investigate and correct a billing problem.

Nothing in this Policy limits your rights to dispute an unauthorized or erroneous charge through your card issuer or payment provider.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy for future transactions. The version in effect when a transaction is made will generally apply to that transaction, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
